CLG Naomh Adhamhnáin/St. Eunan’s GAA

The All-County League Division 1 concluded on Sunday, and it was a short trip to Pairc Naomh Columba to meet Glenswilly. The men had another fantastic result, with the final score of Glenswilly 0-6 to St Eunan’s 3-15. Goals from Peter Mc Eniff, Eoin Dowling and Padraig McGettigan. Well done to all the lads and all the Management Team. Well done to our Senior B team today, who also comprehensively beat Glenswilly 5-16 to 0-6. Brilliant performance lads and well done to Conor and all the management team.  Next up is Kilcar in the Senior Championship in O’Donnell Park in 2 weeks. Best of luck to everyone.

The Senior Hurling team played Burt in the Senior Championship. Burt were victorious with a score line of 0-14 to 0-09. They will play away to Buncrana this weekend. Best wishes to everyone. The Junior hurling team will play Four Masters in O’Donnell Park this Friday, again, good luck to everyone.

The Div 3 u13 boys’ team had a fantastic victory in the Championship Quarter final V Na Rossa. The score: 7-15 to 2-11. Well, done to captain Max McKeever, Gabriel and all the management team.

The U12’s girls hosted CLG An Clochán Liath in O’Donnell park, a return leg from another match played in early July. 2 matches were played side by side today in good playing conditions giving a welcome opportunity for both clubs to do so.

Our U10 girls hosted Burt and both teams played out a very evenly contested match that had a bit of everything – with some great skills on show and fine scores taken. All players went home smiling with both sets of supporters remarking on the quality of the contest.

Well done to our minor ladies who beat Termon 6-16 to 3-09.

St Eunan’s GAA Club are delighted to announce that we are participating in the Dermot Earley Youth Leadership Initiative 2021/22. This initiative is for young people aged between 15-18. We have two female volunteers already and are asking others to consider getting involved especially a few males if possible. If anyone has any questions or would like to get involved, please send us a message on social media or contact any officer and we will get back to you.

St Eunan’s GAA Club would like to express our deep sadness on the news of the untimely death of Bernard McGlynn. Bernard was a great supporter of local sport, especially for Letterkenny Rovers, where he volunteered regularly, and with other community-based groups like Letterkenny Tidy Towns. Rest in Peace Bernard.
