CLG Naomh Adhamhnáin/St. Eunan’s GAA
The Senior Men Div 4 team were beaten by Naomh Ultan at the weekend with a score line of 3-14 to 3-10. Hard luck to all involved.
Hard luck to the boys in the U15 Northern Final that was played on Monday night. Score line was Gaoth Dobhair 2-11 to St. Eunan’s 0-09. Hard luck to Brendan, Paul, Johnny, Anthony and all the team.
There was a great result for our Minor boys’ team at the weekend. An exciting finish to take victory by a point. Well done, Seamus, Declan, the management team and all the lads! Final score: St Eunan’s 4-7 St Michael’s 1-15.
Hard luck to our U13’s boys’ team, who went down by a point in Convoy. A few faces were missing, but the lads played with a real spirit, nonetheless. Well done to all involved. Final score: Convoy 1-05 St Eunan’s 1-04.
Our U10 girls travelled to Ballybofey to play MacCumhaills, with 3 matches on the go at the same time.Some lovely football was on show from both clubs and enjoyed by all family members who came to watch. Special thanks to all at MacCumhaills for their hospitality and well organised matches.
Our U14 girls played their final league game this afternoon at home to a strong Gweedore team. Eunan’s started slowly and didn’t really get into their stride. They worked hard throughout but ended up on the wrong side of the result. Final score was St Eunan’s 6-05 to Gweedore 4-18. Well done to all the girls and to Stephen, Brendan, Pat, Peter, Michelle and all the management team.
Our Under 16 girls team made the long journey to Glencolmcille. Unfortunately, the result again didn’t go as planned – but the girls fought hard throughout the game and right until the final whistle.
Our minor girls had a good win against Killybegs winning by 6 points. They play St Nauls away Thursday at 7.30. Best of luck to all.
The Senior Hurlers had another great win the Championship to make it 2 from 2. The final score was St Eunan’s 1-16 to Mac Cumhaills 1-09. Brian Mac with the goal in the second half. Well done to all involved.
Our U13 hurlers had a great win against Burt. Final score 4-12 to 4-02, with Eunan’s pulling away in the final quarter. Congratulations to our U13’s boys Hurling team who won their Tain League final in Derrylin (Fermanagh) at the weekend. Well done to all involved.
The Century Complex Sunday Morning Academy continues to take place each week for 4–10-year-olds at 11am. The hurling and camogie academy is on every Friday evening 6.30 to 7.30. New players always welcome from u5’s to u13’s. Helmets & Hurls provided. Camogie training will take place for U12/13 on Tuesday 6pm and Friday 6.30, U14 is on Monday at 7pm and U16/Minor/Senior takes place on Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm. All new players are welcome to join. Thanks to all the coaches and helpers each week, it is much appreciated.
