CLG Naomh Adhamhnáin/St. Eunan’s GAA

The Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure Senior Championship got underway in O’ Donnell Park on Sunday. It was a day of mixed results for our Senior Men teams. Rory Kavanagh’s men were overcome by Kilcar in the first game with a score line of 1-12 to 1-14. The goal was from Eoin McGeehin and 5 points from Niall O’ Donnell. Hard luck to all. The Senior B team had more luck and won with a score line of 3-14 to 1-07. Well done to Eddie Blake who managed them on the day. Next up is Termon in The Burn Road.

Well done to our Junior A team who defeated Robert Emmets with a score line of 3-13 to 2-03. An excellent result. Well done to the management, the team and Dylan Doogan with the 3 goals.

Hard luck to our Junior Hurlers who were beaten by LK Gaels. Next up is Setanta at home on Friday evening at 6.30.

The U13 Div 3 boys’ team were victorious against Naomh Muire in the semi -final of the Championship. They will play Moville next weekend. Well done all and best of luck in the final. The U8 boys team made the trip to Tír Conaill Park to take part in a Blitz against Four Masters. Thanks to all their coaches and parents. A great day had by all.  The U 10 played Mac Cumhaills in the park in the go games competition, well done.

The Senior Ladies beat Carndonagh 1-15 to 2-08 to progress to the Intermediate Semi Final. They will face Aodh Rua in Ballyshannon Sunday week. Ádh mór. Our U12 girls welcomed LK Gaels to O’Donnell Park on Sunday morning. Great skills from both teams. Well done. Our U7 & U8 girls were welcomed to the Thorn Road to take part in a Blitz at the weekend. Thanks to all their coaches and parents. A great day had by all.

The Century Complex Sunday Morning Academy continues to take place each week for 4–10-year-olds at 11am. The hurling and camogie academy is on every Friday evening 6.30 to 7.30. New players always welcome from u5’s to u13’s. Helmets & Hurls provided. Camogie training will take place for U12/13 on Tuesday 6pm and Friday 6.30, U14 is on Monday at 7pm and U16/Minor/Senior takes place on Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm. All new players are welcome to join. Thanks to all the coaches and helpers each week, it is much appreciated.
