CLG Naomh Adhamhnáin/St. Eunan’s GAA
The Michael Murphy Sports & Leisure Senior Football Championship continued at the weekend with the last group game, when the Senior A team travelled to Bundoran to play Realt na Mara on Saturday. The men came away with a great win and a score line of 1-7 to 0-14 points. Well done to Rory and all the team. They are now drawn against St Naul’s in the quarter final stage of the competition which will be held this weekend. The Senior B game did not go ahead again. Ádh mór oraibh.
Well done to Kieran Tobin and Conor O’ Donnell Jr who made the Democrat team of the week after their performance against Aodh Ruadh. Honourable mention also to Eoin McGeehin. Maith sibh.
Well done to the Senior Hurling team who had a good win over Burt in the Senior Hurling Semi-final with a scoreline of 1-13 to 0-11. The game which was held in O’Donnell Park saw Cormac Finn with a tally of 1-1 and Dáire Ó Maoiléidigh with a total of 0-07 points. They will now face Setanta in the county final on the weekend of Oct 30/31. Best of luck to Eugene and all the management. Ádh mór oraibh.
Hard luck to the U15 hurlers who were beaten by Aodh Ruadh in the county league semi-final. The boys fought back bravely but it wasn’t to be enough. Thanks to everyone involved.
Well done to our Senior Ladies who beat Convoy on Sunday in the Intermediate Championship Semi-final with a score line of 2-04 to 1-16.
The club were delighted to host the Donegal Championship cross country event on behalf of Letterkenny Athletic Club. A great event and well done to LAC.
The Century Complex Sunday Morning Academy continues to take place each week for 4–10-year-olds at 11am. The hurling and camogie academy is on every Friday evening 6.30 to 7.30. New players always welcome from u5’s to u13’s. Helmets & Hurls provided. Camogie training will take place for U12/13 on Tuesday 6pm and Friday 6.30, U14 is on Monday at 7pm and U16/Minor/Senior takes place on Tuesday and Thursday at 6pm. All new players are welcome to join. Thanks to all the coaches and helpers each week, it is much appreciated.
