The Michael Murphy Sports and Leisure Senior Football Championship final is set for this Sunday the 7th of November in Mac Cumhaill Park at 3.15. The time of reserve final is to be confirmed this week. Congrats to Caolan Ward, Conor O’Donnell Snr, Kieran Tobin, Niall O’Donnell & Sean McVeigh who all made it on to the team of the week after their performance against St Michaels, special mention also to Shane O’Donnell.

We would appeal to all the people of Letterkenny to get behind the 2 teams. Best of luck. A huge thanks to everyone who has spent the last week painting the town Black & Amber, it is much appreciated, and the town looks great. Ádh mór.

A massive congratulations to the Senior Hurlers on their amazing win in the Hurling Championship County Final against Setanta. What turned into a nerve wrecking last few minutes, must have been one of the most exciting and exhilarating games to be played in O’Donnell Park in a while. With a score line of 2-9 to 0-14 its no wonder it was tense at the end. The last time this was won by St Eunan’s was 1972. Goals from Russell Forde and Kevin Kealy got the men comfortable, but Setanta did not give up, but Eunan’s were strong enough to hold out to the end. Well done to Eugene, Paddy, Eunan and all the backroom staff who have put in so much work over the years with hurling in the club and it was brilliant to see the fruits of their labour come to fruition on Saturday. A big mention also to the supporters on the day. It made a massive difference, and the management team were very thankful. Maith sibh.

Well done to John Haran & Enda Kelly along with manager Liam Breen who secured the All-Ireland Masters Shield title. The game was played in Cavan and they beat Westmeath with a score line of 1-14 to 2-06.

The Century cinema Complex Sunday Morning Academy has finished up for this year. There will be a presentation night this Friday evening, the 5th of November, in the Mount Errigal at 6.30. Please come along. Details on social media.
