CLG Naomh Ádhamhnáin /St Eunan’s GAA
The Brian McCormick Sports Division 1 league got underway for the Senior A and B team at the weekend and both teams left The Bridge with wins in their first games. The Senior B team had a score line of 0-07 to 1-07, Emmet Lynch with the goal.
The Senior A team had a score line of 1-06 to 2-08. With goals from Eoin and Jordan and some senior debuts made, it was a good day in Dunfanaghy. Well done to both teams and management.
Our Division 3 team were beaten by Naomh Ultan at the weekend, the final score was 1-06 to 1-13. Hard luck to Peter, Adrian and the team.
Our U17 started their league campaigns last week. The Div 1 team had a good win over Cloughaneely while our Div 2 team came away with a draw in Convoy.
Hard luck to the Donegal u20’s who were beaten by Tyrone last weekend. Commiserations to Kieran Tobin as captain and the rest of the Eunan’s men, Eoin, Ciaran and David.
Hard luck to Maxi and the Donegal ladies who were beaten by Meath in the League final in Croke Park on Sunday.
Hard luck to the Senior hurlers who were beaten by Buncrana at the weekend.
Congratulations to Michael, Gaga and all the team in St. Eunans College who won the Dr Tony O’ Neill cup last week. They beat De La Salle, Waterfod 3-2. Well done.

The club wishes to pass on its condolences to the family of Hughie Merlehan who passed away recently. Hughie played both underage and Junior for the club. May he rest in peace.
We pass on our condolences to the family and friends of Goretti McMonagle who passed away in the Donegal Hospice recently. Sadly missed by her husband James, children Ciaran, Eoghan & Clare.
Our new club website is up and running. All member and players can now use our new registration system to register for 2022.
The Hurling Academy will be on every Friday from 6.30 to 7.30. The Century Complex Sunday Morning Academy is on each Sunday morning from 11 to 12. Everyone is welcome and you can register online. Thanks to everyone who helps and gives their time each week.
